Medway Council Tax

Is it just me or anyone else having trouble understanding the way Medway Council runs their council tax payment system. I am upto date with my payment, I know because I spoke to someone in September as there was a misunderstanding then I paid October give or take two to three days late and my next payment due on 24 Nov. But guess what no letters or anything for the past two months then suddenly today I get a summons to go to court in December with a £60 excess....... Anyone knows what's going on? To be honest I've had enough of this government and it's attitude towards working people. No matter how much you try and live an honest life, they bleed you to death. I don't think anyone has any pennies to put aside for a rainy day nowadays....why? Because honest working people are made to pay through the nose for everything and no respect whatsoever. This government leads people to lose their family, lose what's important to them. But that does not matter as long as the government get what they want. Honesty does not seem to pay anymore, if you're not involved in some sort of scam then you stand no chance. What's the point? One question......just one. IS THERE EVER GOING TO BE A PERSON OR GOVERNMENT THAT CAN PUT JUSTICE IN THIS COUNTRY AND WORK FOR HIS OR HER PEOPLE RATHER PUNISH THEM ALL FOR TRYING, SOMEONE WHO IS HONEST AND LOYAL TO HIS OR HER COUNTRY, SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO SEE IT FLOURISH? I think hope is slowing fading away for most. Everyone is getting fed up.
